Terms of Service

RiseOnStairs is a custom staircase and hardwood flooring company incorporated in Ontario, Canada, founded in 2016. Our registered address is 18 Mario St, Brampton, ON L6P 1N1. We provide design, supply, and installation services for residential and commercial clients across Brampton, Toronto, Mississauga, and the Greater Toronto Area.

Any quote or estimate provided by RiseOnStairs — whether through our website, by email, or verbally — is not a binding contract. A project only commences upon execution of a written agreement signed by both parties and receipt of any agreed deposit. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated in writing.

RiseOnStairs warrants all installation workmanship for one (1) year from the date of project completion. This covers defects arising from our installation and does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper maintenance, acts of nature, or third-party modifications. Material warranties are subject to the terms of the respective manufacturer. To make a warranty claim, contact us at info@riseonstairs.ca.

If a client cancels a confirmed project more than 7 business days before the scheduled start date, any deposit paid will be refunded minus reasonable costs already incurred (e.g. materials ordered, design work completed). Cancellations within 7 business days of the start date may result in forfeiture of the deposit. RiseOnStairs reserves the right to cancel a project if site conditions are deemed unsafe; in such cases, any deposit will be returned in full.

All content on this website — including text, images, design, logos, and project photography — is the property of RiseOnStairs or its licensors and is protected under Canadian copyright law. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without prior written consent. Sharing project photos on social media with credit to RiseOnStairs is permitted and appreciated.

By engaging RiseOnStairs for a project, you grant us permission to photograph the completed work for use in our portfolio, website, and social media channels. No personal identifying information (your name, address, or likeness) will be published without your explicit consent. To opt out, please notify us in writing before work commences.

To the maximum extent permitted by Ontario law, RiseOnStairs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or our services. Our total liability in connection with any project shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for that project. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by our negligence.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our website after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
